The segment of US-231 from Pell City to Vincent begins at the interchange with U.S. Route 78 in Pell City. Travelling generally south along the west bank of the Catoosa River, the highway passes through the community of New London before reaching the town of Vincent, where the route ends at the intersection with Alabama Highway 25.
