The segment of U.S. Route 169 in Tulsa begins at the interchange with Interstate 244 in northeast Tulsa. Driving due south, the highway crosses several interchanges including historic Route 66 and Interstate 44 before reaching the interchange with Oklahoma Route 51. Continuing south through east Tulsa, the highway reaches the interchange with Oklahoma Route 364 – the Creek Turnpike – where it turns due west for an additional mile before US-169 ends at the interchange with U.S. Route 64 east.
