Drive America’s Highways for 8 miles along Markham Street Westbound in Little Rock, Arkansas
We start the video driving west on 3rd street at the intersection with Victory street in downtown Little Rock. Continuing west out of downtown, 3rd street makes a gentle S-curve just before the Arkansas School for the Deaf and becomes Markham Street as we enter the Capitol View / Stifft Station district. Passing the intersection with Kavanaugh Blvd, we enter the Hillcrest area as we continue west, passing the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) on our left.
Crossing the intersection with University Avenue, we enter the Midtown area as we continue driving on Markham Street Westbound in Little Rock. We soon pass the intersection with Rodney Parham Rd, making our way westward towards the I-430 overpass where we enter what is locally known as “West Little Rock.” Crossing Shackleford Rd, we enter a commercial stretch with shopping centers and strip malls on both sides of the road, as we pass Bowman Rd and reach Chenal Parkway, where Markham Street returns to a more residential setting for it’s last mile before turning south as it becomes Kirby Road, where we end the video.
Enjoyed another great drive. Keep rolling and recording. Thanks
