Arkansas Highway 113 – Morrilton to Blackwell

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 8 miles north along Arkansas Highway 113 from Morrilton to Blackwell. 💎

We start the video turning onto Arkansas Highway 113 from U.S. Highway 64 in downtown Morrilton. Driving a block or so south, we turn right onto Church Street to stay on highway 113 where we continue west where we pass Cherokee Rd and the Conway County Detention Center before leaving Morrilton.

Just before the Point Remove Creek crossing, we pass the intersection with the original alignment of the highway – complete with historic truss bridge and all. Crossing Point Remove Creek (on the new alignment), we turn northwest to follow the north bank of the creek for a mile or so before we turn north. Driving through rich Arkansas farmland, we continue our northward trek towards Blackwell.

Entering Blackwell, we pass through a small residential area before crossing a railroad and reaching the northern terminus of Arkansas Highway 113 at the intersection with U.S. Highway 64, where we end the video turning westbound.
