Arkansas Highway 10 – Hackett to Greenwood

Drive America Highways for 10 miles east along Arkansas Highway 10 from Hackett to Greenwood.

We start the video turning onto a combined Arkansas Highway 45/Arkansas Highway 10 from Arkansas Highway 10 in Hackett. Driving initially north, we reach the split where AR-45 turns left to continue north, and AR-10 continues straight. Staying on AR-10, we immediately turn eastbound after the “Y” to leave town. Continuing east, we drive through generally wooded areas interspersed with small family farms. A few miles later, we reach the intersection with Arkansas Highway 253, where we continue east on AR-10 towards Greenwood.

A mile and a half or so after the AR-253 intersection, we reach the only major intersection in the video — U.S. Highway 71. Crossing US-71, we continue east into Greenwood, where the highway turns briefly north Cocker St. Following Cocker St, we drive a few blocks to downtown Greenwood the intersection with AR-10 Spur, where we end the video.
