U.S. Highway 89

U.S. Highway 89 is a 1,252 mile, north-south highway that exists in two current and one former section. The southern section runs for 848 miles from Flagstaff, Arizona to the southern entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The nothern section runs for 404 miles from Yellowstone to the US - Canada border near Babb, Montana. Prior to 1992, US-89 travelled from Canada to Mexico, ending in Nogales, Arizona. Sometimes called the National Park Highway, US-89 travels through seven national parks and fourteen national monuments and other park areas, it has been named one of the best drives in the world.
