🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 16 miles south along U.S. Highway 79 from Paris Landing State Park to Paris, Tennessee. 🛣️
The segment of U.S. Route 79 from Paris Landing State Park to Paris, Tennessee begins at the entrance to the park, just west of the Ned R. McWherter Bridge and Kentucky Lake. Travelling generally southwest as a four-lane highway, the highway intersects TN-119 mere feet from the park entrance. Further southwest, US-79 intersects TN-140 as it continues towards Paris.
Continuing southwest, the highway soon intersects TN-218 North as it enters the Paris area. At the intersection with TN-218 South, U.S. Route 79 enters Paris, turning south 3 miles later at the intersection with Tennessee Secondary Route 356. Route 79 continues south out of Paris, however the segment of U.S. 79 between Paris Landing State Park and Paris ends at this point.
