U.S. Highway 70B in Hot Springs begins at the interchange with U.S. Route 70 and Arkansas Highway 5 just east of Hot Springs. Driving west on a 4-lane divided highway, the road soon turns northwest to intersect with Arkansas Highway 7S near Gulpha Gorge in Hot Springs National Park. Turning southwest after the Highway 7S interchange, the road becomes a 4-lane arterial road (Grand Ave) as it makes its way into Hot Springs.

In Hot Springs, the highway intersects U.S. Highway 270B (Malvern Ave) as it turns west to bypass downtown to the south. Intersecting Scenic Arkansas Highway 7, the route continues west before briefly turning south on Summer St. Four blocks later, the road turns sharply southwest to become Albert Pike Rd where it continues approximately 1 mile to the intersection with U.S. Highway 270B where Highway 70B turns southwest onto Airport Road.

Continuing southwest on Airport Road, the 70B passes the Memorial Field Airport before terminating at the interchange with U.S. Route 270.
