π Drive America’s Highways for 28 miles west along U.S. Highway 64 from Russellville to Clarksville, Arkansas π£οΈ
The segment of U.S. Highway 64 from Russellville to Clarksville begins at the junction with Scenic Arkansas Highway 7 in Russellville. Travelling northwest through town as Main Street, the route makes its way through the western neighborhoods of Russellville, passing primarily residential and commercial areas. At the intersection with Parkway Drive, the highway turns left to continue northwest across Lake Dardanelle and the Illinois Bayou, offering some decent scenery.
Now traveling west and entering London, US-64 crosses the intersection with AR-333 — the entrance to Arkansas Nuclear 1 — before leaving town. Turning northwest once again near the community of Scotia, Route 64 soon enters the town of Knoxville. Leaving Knoxville at the interchange with Interstate 40, Highway 64 turns north to enter Lamar where it intersects AR-339 and Arkansas Highway 123 before turning northwest again to enter Clarksville.
At Clarksville, U.S. Route 64 turns west just before the intersection with Arkansas Highway 21 and downtown. Passing through downtown Clarksville, US-64 intersects both AR-123 and AR-103. Continuing west, the segment of U.S. Route 64 from Russellville to Clarksville ends at the intersection with Arkansas Highway 352, on the west side of town.
