U.S. Highway 70: Dickson to Bruceton – Tennessee

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 52 miles west along U.S. Highway 70 from Dickson to Bruceton, Tennessee.

We start the video on Henslee Dr (U.S. Highway 70) at the intersection with TN-46 in Dickson. Driving through the north side of town, we cross the interchange with TN-48 and the intersection with TN-46 north before leaving Dickson. Driving west on the Broadway of America Highway out of Dickson, the 4-lane divided highway becomes a 2-lane road to pass through Tennessee City.

Leaving Tennessee City, we continue west on US-70, passing through a nice mix of woodlands and farmlands, to enter the town of McEwen where we intersect TN-231. Staying westbound on Highway 70, we leave McEwan and turn southwest to enter the town of Waverley — home of Loretta Lynn – a few miles later. Crossing the intersection with TN-13 in central Waverly, we continue southwest on Main St (US-70) to pass through Denver and New Johnsonville before crossing the Tennessee River to enter west Tennessee.

Turning northwest after crossing the Tennessee River, we bypass the city of Camden to the south, crossing U.S. Highway 641 before turning west again towards Bruceton. Entering Bruceton, we end the video turning into a fuel stop about a half mile into town.
