U.S. Highway 70 – Brinkley to North Little Rock – Arkansas

Drive America’s Highways for 67 miles west along US-70 from Brinkley to North Little Rock, Arkansas

We start the video driving southbound on a conjoined US-49 and U.S. Highway 70 in downtown Brinkley. As we turn southwest to leave town, US-49 turns to the south. Continuing southwest, we turn west just outside of town to make the short drive into Biscoe.

At Biscoe, we turn more southerly to cross the White River to enter De Valls Bluff. Now driving west again, we leave De Valls bluff and a short time later, we pass through Hazen at dual intersections with US-63. Leaving Hazen, we continue our westward journey on US-70 through Carlisle before reaching Lonoke, where we make an S-bend on the west side of town.

Our final leg of the route takes us west through Galloway and into North Little Rock at the interchange with Interstate 440. Now inside North Little Rock, we turn southwest to the northern terminus of US-165 where we return to our westerly routing. Crossing the Interstate 30 interchange a few miles later, we end the video as US-70 (labeled US-70B on Google Maps) turns south at an intersection with AR-365 to cross the Arkansas River into Little Rock.
