Drive America’s Highways for 6 miles along Missouri Highway 185 Spur in Meramec State Park, Missouri ?️

We start the video entering Meramec State Park at the main entrance at MO-185 near Sullivan, Missouri. Driving past the ranger station and welcome center, we turn left at the first junction to continue into the park. Crossing under MO-185 while paralleling the Meramec River, we enter Campbell Hollow and the day use area of the park.

Climbing out of Campbell Hollow, we soon pass the aptly name Deer Hollow Trail where we see, surprise, a few deer trying to cross the road. After waiting for them to make their way across the road, we continue down the hill into the campground area where we make a quick stop to check some gear before moving on to Fisher Cave where we take a rest break.

After the break, we hop back on MO-185 Spur and do the entire route in reverse, although on the way out of the park, we pass the welcome center and drive down to the boat launch area at the Meramec River. After a brief photo stop at the river, we finish the video turning left (north) out of the park onto MO-185.
