Mississippi Highway 1: Greenville to Rosedale

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 38 miles north along the Great River Road – Mississippi Highway 1 – from Greenville to Rosedale. 🛣️

The segment of Mississippi Highway 1 from Greenville to Rosedale begins about a block south of the intersection with U.S. Route 278 in Greenville. Heading north, the highway continues through a mix of residential and commercial areas as it makes its way out of town. Leaving Greenville, the highway turns slightly northwest to pass through Winterville before turning north once again near Lamont.

Passing the intersection with MS-450 and entering Scott, MS-1 turns northeast to follow the banks of Lake Bolivar. As Lake Bolivar ends, the highway briefly turns east before turning northeast again to pass through the town of Benoit, where it intersects MS-448. Shortly after leaving Benoit, the highway turns north to pass MS-446 just south of Lobdell. Continuing north, Mississippi 1 passes through Beulah before turning northwest towards Rosedale. Entering Rosedale from the southeast, the highway turns north to intersect Mississippi Highway 8 where the segment of MS-1 from Greenville to Rosedale ends.
