Drive America’s Highways for 45 miles west along Interstate 49 from Lebanon to Springfield, Missouri
We start the video turning onto Interstate 44 from Route 66 (exit 127) in Lebanon, MO. Driving southwest into the afternoon sun, we pass through Phillipsburg and several other small communities. Near Conway, we make a quick pit-stop at the Conway Rest Area, before continuing on to Marshfield. At Marshfield, we turn more westerly to pass through Olman and Strafford before entering the Springfield area, where we end the video exiting I-44 at US-65 northeast of town.
MO has the most beautiful roads in the country, especially just north of this stretch between Rolla and St Louis!
I really want to explore that area on my motorcycle, moreso than in my car/truck. Perhaps in the spring.Only 8 more videos in this series, then skipping over to Tulsa, then a trip down to Mississippi and up to TN via the Natchez Trace….Stay tuned for more great drives!
