🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 26 miles south along Arkansas Highway 5 from Mountain View to Drasco.

The segment of Arkansas Highway 5 from Mountain View to Drasco begins at the junction with Arkansas Highway 9 in Mountain View. Initially heading east along with AR-14, Highway 5 splits off to the south just east of Mountain View. Soon, the highway turns briefly east before turning southeast for the next 12 or so miles. Traveling through the Ozark foothills, the road meanders through valleys and plateaus, passing farms and forests in almost equal number.

Turning south once again near the intersection with CR-235, Arkansas Highway 5 continues for 14 or so miles to the small community of Wolf Bayou where it intersects Arkansas Highway 25. Continuing south on a conjoined AR-5/25, the route turns briefly west to enter Drasco, turning south once again at the intersection with 5 mile road near the Drasco Trading Post. The segment of AR-5 from Mountain View to Drasco ends at the intersection with Arkansas Highway 92, about a mile south of the Trading Post.
