🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 12 miles south along Arkansas Highway 227 from Lake Ouachita State Park to Piney (Hot Springs).

We start the drive from Lake Ouachita State Park to Piney at the main intersection in front of the park visitors center. Twisting and turning our way out of the park, we soon pass the intersection with Arkansas Highway 192 to enter Mountain Pine. At Mountain Pine, we turn left at the intersection with Arkansas Highway 190 where we continue 6 miles or so into Piney. Passing the entrance to Mid America Science Museum and National Park College, we end the route at the junction with U.S. Highway 270, just west of Hot Springs.
