🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 14 miles south along U.S. Highway 641 from Gilbertsville to Benton, Kentucky. 🛣️
The segment of U.S. Route 641 between Gilbertsville and Benton begins at the junction with U.S. Route 62 just south of Gilbertsville. Travelling generally south through Kentucky Dam Village, the highway passes several recreational areas and attractions. Turning southwest a few miles before the town of Draffenville, the Route 641 crosses KY-1422 as it enters Draffenville proper.
At Draffenville, US-641 turns briefly southeast to share a brief concurrency with US-68. Several blocks southeast, U.S. Route 68 splits off to the south as US-641 to leave town. Leaving Draffenville, the highway crosses KY-58 and KY-795 to enter the Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge. Crossing the Clarks River, the highway soon enters Benton where it makes its way through town as Main Street.
Leaving Benton, the highway continues south out of town, intersecting KY-1824 and KY-783 before turning southeast at the intersection with U.S. Route 641 Spur. The segment of US-641 between Gilbertsville and Benton, Kentucky ends at this intersection.
