π Drive America’s Highways for 12 miles east along U.S. Highway 62 from Grand Rivers to Eddyville, Kentucky π£οΈ
The segment of U.S. Route 62 between Grand Rivers and Eddyville begins at the interchange with Kentucky Route 453 just north of Grand Rivers. Travelling generally northeast, the highway traverses rural Kentucky countryside dotted with patches of wooded areas. The highlight of the segment is the Cumberland River just east of the junction with KY-917.
Continuing northeast, the highway enters Kuttawa where it has a full interchange with Interstates 24 and 69 before leaving town to enter Eddyville near the intersection with KY-295. At Eddyville, US-62 intersects Kentucky Route 93 as it makes its way through town. Before leaving Eddyville, the highway intersects U.S. Route 641 where the segment of US-62 from Grand Rivers to Eddyville ends.
