🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 19 miles west along U.S. Highway 270 from Crystal Springs to Mt. Ida, Arkansas. 🛣️

The segment of U.S. Highway 270 from Crystal Springs to Mt. Ida begins in the small community of Crystal Springs, approximately 15 miles west of Hot Springs. Starting at Burls Smokehouse, just past Crystal Springs Road, U.S. 270 winds its way through the Ouachita National Forest, generally following the southern bank of Lake Ouachita (pronounced Washita).

Entering Mt. Ida, US-270 crosses an intersection with Arkansas Highway 27 south before entering the central business area of town. On the other side of Mt. Ida, the segment of US-270 from Crystal Springs to Mt. Ida ends at the intersection with AR-27 north.
