🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 34 miles north along U.S. Highway 550 from Ouray to Montrose, Colorado.

We start our drive from Ouray to Montrose just leaving Ouray from the north on U.S. Highway 550. Driving generally northwest, we soon pass through the community of Portland before passing Baldy Peak to enter Ridgway, where we intersect CO-62.

Continuing north on US-550, we drive through Ridgway and Dallas before skirting Ridgway State Park to the east. Leaving Ridgway State Park, we continue our drive on US-550 through Eldredge, Colona, and Vernal before entering Montrose from the south. At Montrose, we end the video a few blocks into town at the intersection with Williams Dr.
