U.S. Highway 385: Crazy Horse to Hill City – South Dakota

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 6 miles east along U.S. Highway 385 from Crazy Horse to Hill City, South Dakota. 🛣️

We start the drive from Crazy Horse to Hill City turning northbound onto Highway 385 from the Avenue of the Chiefs — the entrance to the Crazy Horse Memorial. Driving generally north, we pass through the beautiful black hills, with views of St. Elmo Peak in the distance.

Passing St. Elmo Peak, we reach the intersection with SD-87 where we continue north on 385 for a few dozen feet to the intersection with SD-244 where we end the video turning eastbound towards Mt. Rushmore.
