Drive America’s Highways for 25 miles west along U.S. Highway 270 from Hot Springs to Crystal Springs, Arkansas.

We start the ride from Hot Springs to Crystal Springs riding south from the U.S. Highway 70 junction on the Hot Springs Bypass. At the junction with U.S. Highway 270, we continue on the Hot Springs Bypass as it becomes US-270 and turns west. Passing the junctions with Arkansas Highway 128 and Arkansas Highway 7, we turn north once again to cross the U.S. 70 west interchange. Continuing north another mile or so, the expressway ends as we merge west onto Albert Pike, which now carries Highway 270.

Entering Piney, we cross the intersection with Arkansas Highway 227 before crossing the Ouachita River and leaving town. Continuing west for 7 miles or so, we pass through the community of Royal. Soon after, we enter Crystal Springs where we pass the intersection with Highway 227 south. Leaving Crystal Springs, we drive about a mile to Burl’s Smokehouse, where we end the video pulling off for a nice lunch.
