Fort Worth – 2024

In September, 2024, we took a quick trip down to Fort Worth, Texas to attend a concert.  Our journey takes us west via Interstate 30, beginning in Rockwall.  Passing through Grapevine and Mesquite, we enter Dallas where we cross I-635 and I-35E before leaving town and entering Grand Prairie.  Passing the President George Bush Turnpike, we enter Arlington, crossing TX-360, Six-Flags, AT&T Stadium, and all the touristy stuff the area offers.

Leaving Arlington, we enter Fort Worth where we cross I-820 and I-35W before reaching the western terminus of Interstate 30.  From there, we headed to the hotel before setting out to film more of the area, including Interstate 20, Interstate 820, Interstate 35W, TX-183, TX-360 and the south entrance to DFW airport.

On the return home, we take I-30 from it’s western terminus to it’s eastern terminus in Little Rock, Arkansas.  With the exception of a small stretch from Fort Worth to Arlington, the entire eastbound length of I-30 has been recorded.  Shortly after returning from Ft. Worth, we learned that ARDOT has completed the 30Crossing project in downtown Little Rock, so we took a short day trip there to record the completed segments.  A few days later, ARDOT announced that the construction in Saline County (southwest of Little Rock) had been completed, so we took yet another trip, this time down to Malvern to re-film I-30 east.  Thus, the last video of the trip is the completed I-30 east through Arkansas, from Texarkana to North Little Rock.
