🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 15 miles south along MS-315 from Sardis to Oxford, Mississippi. 🛣️

The segment of Mississippi Route 315 from Sardis to Oxford begins at the intersection with U.S. Route 61 in Sardis. Travelling initially east on a 4-lane arterial road as Lee Street, the highway soon crosses the interchange with Interstate 55 where it continues east towards Sardis Lake. Beginning at the I-55 interchange, the highway becomes a scenic route marked with a blue shield rather than the traditional black and white.

Approaching Sardis Dam, the highway splits with MS-315 continuing along the bottom of the dam and MS-315 Scenic following along the top of the dam. This video follows the bottom routing (the return video will show the view from the top of the dam), with the two routes eventually meeting up on the south side of recreation area just after the intersection with MS-35.

Leaving the Sardis Dam area, the route turns south becoming an unsigned state route as it makes its way towards U.S. Route 278. At U.S. Route 278, Mississippi Highway 315 from Sardis to Oxford ends just a few miles west of Oxford.
