America’s Highways for 13 miles along the historic Route 66 in Kansas ?

We start the drive at the Missouri border on a 1923 alignment (Front Street) near Galena and pass by Cars on the Route befoe joining the newer alignment at 7th St.

From there, we travel west to Riverton where we cross the Rainbow (Marsh Arch) Bridge before driving into Baxter Springs on Willow Avenue. Turning right onto US-69 ALT, we drive through the town of Baxter Springs, turning left for one final original 1923 alignment before heading out of town — and Kansas.
