Interstate 79

Interstate 79 is a 343 mile interstate traveling from Interstate 77 in Charleston, WV to PA-5 in Erie, PA. In West Virginia, I-79 is known as the Jennings Randolph Expressway, for most of PA, it is known as the Raymond P. Shafer Highway. For most of it's route, I-79 is located on the Allegheny Plateau, with elevations between 1,000 and 1,200 feet above sea level.
