🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 91 miles west along Interstate 80 and Interstate 90 from Elkhart to Gary, Indiana. 🛣️

We start the drive from Elkhart to Gary turning onto the Indiana Toll Road from State Route 19 in Elkhart. Driving generally west, we leave Elkhart to enter South Bend area where we pass the interchange with IN-331. Entering South Bend proper, we pass the interchange with TN-933 and Notre Dame University before turning slightly northwest to intersect U.S. Highway 31 as we leave town.

Continuing northwest, as we come within a few hundred feed of the Michigan State Line, we turn southwest towards La Porte and Gary, and enter the Central Time Zone. Passing La Porte to the north, we continue southwest into Chesterton, where we pass the interchange with IN-49. Staying on the conjoined I-80/I-90 Indiana Toll Road, we enter Gary where Interstate 80 joins I-94 at a tolled interchange. Continuing west on I-90, we pass through Gary, briefly turning north to intersect Interstate 65 at it’s northern terminus before turning west once again to enter Hammond.

At Hammond, we turn northwest towards Chicago, passing through Wolf Lake Memorial Park. At the north end of the park, we reach the West Point Toll Plaza, where we end the video.
