Drive America’s Highways for 59 miles west along Interstate 64 from Charleston to Huntington in West Virginia.
Join us as we leave the West Virginia Capitol of Charleston and head west towards Huntington on Interstate 64. The video starts with us having just crossed the Elk River on Interstate 64 with us turning west through an interchange with U.S. Highway 60 before crossing the Kanawha River on the Eugene A. Carter Memorial Bridge and continuing northwest at an interchange with U.S. Highway 119 south.
Passing through South Charleston, which is actually west of Charleston proper, we cross the Kanawha River twice more (with the final crossing on the Donald M. Legg Memorial Bridge (seen in the title card).
At Teays Valley, we cross the southern terminus of U.S. Highway 35 before leaving the Charleston metro area. As the mile markers continue to count down towards the border, we pass through Hurricane, Culloden, Milton, Ona and Barboursville before reaching Huntington, where we cross U.S. 60 one final time, along with West Virginia Highways 10 and 527, and finally U.S. Highway 52 before crossing the Big Sandy River into Kentucky, where we end the video.

Great drive right in my backyard!
Thank you for the graphics you created which show the big green exit signs you encounter along the way. One note: at 14:50, you show “Credo”. The town there is actually spelled “Ceredo”.
Good spot. If I ever take this route again, I'll make sure to post the updated version 🙂
