Drive America’s Highways for 71 miles east along Interstate 44 from Joplin to Springfield, Missouri.
We start the drive from Joplin to Springfield merging onto Interstate 44 from Interstate 49 in Joplin. Initially driving northeast, we turn east a few miles out of Joplin as we approach the interchange with I-49 north/MO-59 south. Continuing east on I-44, we drive through southwest Missouri countryside, passing Sarcoxie and Stotts City before turning northeast once again just west of Mt. Vernon.
Driving northeast towards Halltown, we pass the interchange with MO-96 (formerly Route 66) before turning east to make our final push into Springfield. Entering Springfield from the southwest, we cross interchanges with MO-360 and MO-266 before turning east once again just past the U.S. Highway 160 interchange in northwest Springfield.
Continuing eastbound in Springfield, we cross the interchanges with MO-13 and Glenstone Ave before ending the video at the interchange with U.S. Highway 65.
