America’s Highways for 22 miles along Interstate 40 from Cookeville to mile 304.6 in Tennessee.

Join us as we drive 22 miles towards Knoxville on Interstate 40 east. Starting just inside the Cookeville city limits, we cross the interchange with TN-111 before reaching the interchange with US 70N and the beginning of the more scenic sections of I-40.

Continuing east, we enter the Appalachian foothills as the highway diverges before passing through Monterey. After another junction with US-70N, I-40 turns southeast for a stretch, which is where we end this video at mile 304.6 — somewhere in central Tennessee.
