Drive 21 miles west on Interstate 40 in Texas from exit 113 in Groom to Amarillo at mile marker 92

During production of this video, we messed up and included the Route 66 logo on the entire video. In fact, Route 66 leaves Interstate 40 at exit 98 – TX-207 and re-joins I-40 at Exit 89.

Along this route, the interstate overlaps the old Route 66 and at one time was signed as Route 66. We have marked such segments in this and all future videos with appropriate signage during the overlap.
