🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 69 miles west along Interstate 30 from Dallas to Fort Worth, Texas.
The segment of Interstate 30 from Dallas to Fort Worth begins just east of Dallas in Rockwall, just before crossing Lake Ray Hubbard. Entering Garland on the west side of Lake Ray Hubbard, the highway meets the southern terminus of the President George Bush Turnpike as it continues southwest towards Dallas. Leaving Garland and Entering Mesquite, the interstate crosses a Texas Stack interchange with Interstate 635 as it continues towards Dallas.
Entering Dallas near the interchange with U.S. Route 80, Interstate 30 turns west once again as it makes its way through the eastern neighborhoods of Dallas. East of downtown, I-30 turns briefly southwest to cross a stack interchange with U.S. Route 75 and Interstate 45, the former being an unsigned Interstate 345. Passing through downtown Dallas to the south, the highway turns briefly northwest to intersect Interstate 35E before turning west again and crossing the Trinity River.
Continuing west as the Tom Landry Freeway, I-30 soon crosses the interchange with SH-12 before leaving Dallas to enter Grand Prairie where it crosses the President George Bush Turnpike once again. Leaving Grand Prairie and entering Arlington, the highway meets Texas Highway 360 along with interchanges with Ballpark Way and AT&T Way, providing access to DFW Airport, Six Flags Over Texas, AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Field, and more, respectively.
Leaving Arlington at the Village Creek crossing, Interstate 30 enters Fort Worth. Traveling west as the East Freeway, the highway soon meets Interstate 820 at a stack interchange where it maintains a westerly direction. Entering downtown Fort Worth at the interchange with U.S. Route 287, I-30 then crosses the I-35W before turning briefly southwest to spawn the Chisolm Trail Parkway.
Turning west once again after the Chisolm Trail Parkway interchange, I-30 continues in that direction to the interchange with I-20 where it turns southwest to leave Fort Worth. Leaving Fort Worth, I-30 curves west once again for approximately 2 miles before terminating at Interstate 20, just west of Ft. Worth. The segment of Interstate 30 from Dallas to Fort Worth ends at the western terminus at the junction with I-20.
