🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 27 miles west along Interstate 287 in New York from West Harrison to New Jersey.
We start the drive from West Harrison to New Jersey merging onto Interstate 287 from the Hutchinson River Parkway in West Harrison, New York. Driving northwest, we immediately pass the interchange with Interstate 587 as we make our way around the east and north sides of White Plains.
Continuing generally northwest on the Cross Westchester Expressway, we pass through Fairview and Elmsford before merging with Interstate 87 just east of the Hudson River. Now on a conjoined I-87/I-287, we cross the Hudson River on the Tappan Zee Bridge (a.k.a. Gov. Mario Cuomo Bridge) to enter the Nyacks.
Leaving the Nyacks, we cross the Palisades-Interstate Parkway to enter Spring Valley where we pass the interchange with NY-59 and also the northern terminus of the Garden State Parkway. Driving on the conjoined I-87/I-287, we continue west into Tallman and Suffern where we exit I-87 to stay on Interstate 287 into New Jersey where we end the video at the state line.
