This video of Interstate 20 from Riverside to Birmingham begins at the interchange with U.S. Route 78 in Riverside, Alabama. Travelling generally west, the highway passes to the north of Pell City before entering the Chulavista area at the interchange with U.S. Highway 78 west. Continuing west from Chulavista, I-20 passes through Moody and Leeds, intersecting with U.S. Route 411, before turning briefly southwest to enter Birmingham.
At Birmingham, Interstate 20 crosses the stack interchange with I-459 before turning northwest to intersect Interstate 59 on the southeast side of the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. Now conjoined with I-59, the highway travels southwest into downtown Birmingham, passing a spaghetti interchange with U.S. Highway 31.
On the northwest side of downtown, the video of Interstate 20 from Riverside to Birmingham ends on the northbound ramp to Interstate 65.
