Historic Route 66 – Winslow – Arizona

Drive America’s Highways for 5 miles west along Historic Route 66 in Winslow Arizona.

Route 66 in Winslow is divided with one direction on one street, and the other on another street. When we passed through, the city was dedicating “standing on the corner” park which is a tribute to Glen Fry of the Eagles. We’d much rather include the song here in this video that made Winslow famous, but due to copyright policy, you will just have to click https://i411.cf/y5lum. Because of this dedication, there are a few places where the video is spliced as we tried to make our way to the park but couldn’t, so we just got back on 66 and left town.

One final note, when the video starts, we are technically on Arizona Highway 87, which then turns south in Winslow. According to the video, and not Google Maps, the second half of the video we are on Arizona Highway 99.
