Drive America’s Highways for 24 miles west along historic Route 66 from Sullivan to Fanning in Missouri.
We start the video turning west onto the former Route 66 (Park Street) from MO-185, where we continue into West Sullivan. In West Sullivan, Park Street becomes a service road to I-44, staying next to the highway for the majority of the route to Bourbon.
In Bourbon, Rt 66 veers south from I-44 to enter town. Passing through the northern side of Bourbon, we stay on Rt 66 as the historic road returns to the side of I-44 until just east of Cuba, where the mother road once again takes a dip south to enter town.
In Cuba, we make a stop for lunch at Missouri Hicks BBQ and check out the historic property next door before returning to the road to drive by the Murals of Cuba in downtown. Leaving Cuba, we stay on MO-ZZ (Route 66) into the town of Fanning where we stop to check out the largest rocking chair before ending the video turning back onto Interstate 44.
