London Bridge – Lake Havasu – Arizona

Drive the historic London Bridge, yes, THAT London Bridge, in Lake Havasu, Arizona. ?

In 1968 London sold their old bridge to a land developer from Missouri who thought it would make a great tourist attraction in the middle of the Arizona Desert. As the bridge was taken apart, it was shipped overseas through the Panama Canal to California and trucked from Long Beach to Arizona. The bridge was reconstructed at Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and re-dedicated on 10 October 1971.
