Tomorrow is the big day—we are officially kicking off the publishing of our Dayton trip! We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, so when the first videos drop, keep your eyes peeled for some fresh formatting changes. We’re always trying to elevate the viewing experience, so definitely let us know what you think of the new look in the comments.
But while you guys are watching the Dayton footage, our summer schedule just got a lot more interesting.
Plots twist: we’ve actually been called back to Dayton later this month. Instead of grumbling about the extra windshield time, we’re doing what we do best: turning it into an epic scouting and filming mission to grab even more brand-new content.
The Next Game Plan: Kentucky Bluegrass & The Mother Road
We are currently mapping out the routing for that second leg. Right now, the plan is to take a nice, long ride along U.S. Route 60 in Kentucky, tracking from Henderson all the way to Fort Knox.
And the return trip? We’re aiming high.
We are looking at looping up through Chicago to bag some fresh Route 66 footage! 2026 marks the 100th anniversary of the Mother Road, and we’d be absolutely remiss if we didn’t honor the centennial with some new tarmac geometry.
If time behaves, the ultimate hope is to film from Chicago down to Springfield, Missouri (the official birthplace of Route 66), tracing Interstate 44 between St. Louis and Springfield. If the clock runs tight, we’ll pivot and make sure we at least capture the iconic stretch from Chicago to St. Louis.
Either way, the Dayton premier starts tomorrow, and there is a massive amount of asphalt history heading your way right behind it. Keep your eyes on the feed, and stay tuned!
