π Drive America’s Highways for 166 miles west along Interstate 30 from Texarkana to Dallas, Texas. π£οΈ
We start the drive from Texarkana to Dallas crossing the Texas state line in Texarkana. Driving west, we pass several local interchanges before passing the northern terminal interchange with Interstate 369. Continuing west, we leave Texarkana and pass through Nash and Leary before passing the Red River Army Depot to the north and entering New Boston.
At New Boston, we pass the interchange with Texas State Route 8 before turning southwest at an interchange with U.S. Highway 82. Driving southwest on I-30, we pass the interchange with U.S. Highway 259 before turning west again in Mt Pleasant. Now driving west again, we leave Mt Pleasant at the interchange with U.S. Highway 271 to pass through Mt Vernon and TX-37.
Continuing west out of Mt. Vernon, we pass the interchange with U.S. Highway 67 where we dip southwest to enter Sulphur Springs. Driving through Sulphur Springs, we pass interchanges with TX-154 and TX-11 before leaving town heading west. 20 miles or so west, we intersect TX-24 just east of Greenville. Staying west on I-30, we enter Greenville and turn southwest, intersecting U.S. Highway 69 and U.S. Highway 380.
Leaving Greenville, we continue southwest on I-30 through Royse City and Fate to enter Rockwall at an interchange with TX-305. After a brief rest stop in Rockwall, we cross Lake Ray Hubbard to enter Mesquite, where we pass the southern terminal interchange with the President George Bush Turnpike. Continuing southwest into Dallas, we end the video at the interchange with Interstate 635 where we exit to I-635 north.
