🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 7 miles west along U.S. Highway 64 from Van Buren to Fort Smith, Arkansas 💎

We start the video turning southwest onto U.S. Highway 64 at the intersection with Arkansas Highway 59 west in Van Buren. Driving southwest through downtown Van Buren, we soon cross the intersection with AR-59 east. Passing AR-59 and then crossing the Arkansas River, we leave Van Buren and enter Fort Smith, where we drive through the intersection with Arkansas Highway 255 just past the river bridge.

Continuing on US-64 (US-71 Business) in Fort Smith, we drive through primarily light industrial and older commercial areas as we make our way towards downtown Fort Smith. At 12th street, US-64 splits with the westbound traffic driving on 10th street and the eastbound traffic driving on 11th street. Staying on 10th St, we soon reach downtown where we turn right on Garrison Ave to stay on US-64 through downtown Fort Smith.

Driving through historic downtown Fort Smith, we pass the Fort Smith National Historic Site (left) and Miss Laura’s Visitor Center (right) before leaving Fort Smith, and Arkansas, at another Arkansas River crossing. We end the video just inside Oklahoma, driving west on US-64.
