Drive Historic Route 66 approx 2.5 miles through McLean, Texas. This drive takes us from Interstate 40 Exit 143 through McLean where we make a brief stop at the historic Phillips 66 before continuing back to I-40 at exit 141.

A note about the historic Phillips 66: It’s not really there anymore. I mean, there is a structure there that looks like the original, but it has painted windows and is literally a collection of roadside props.

It is neat, however, and worth the stop just to see what things looked like in the 20th century.
