American Southwest

Some of our favorite travel destinations are in the Southwest USA.Β  From Route 66, to Las Vegas, to Durango Colorado and lots of other places not on the beaten path, we love to see them all.Β  So far, we have covered over 4,000 miles of the American Southwest, and another 4,500 are planned for October 2018.

All of the videos can be found, a la carte, on this site, but here we have compiled all of our Southwest USA videos in one, easy to find spot.

In September of 2016, Interstate 411 drivers set out on a 14 day, 4,400-mile road adventure to Drive the American Southwest. Starting in Arkansas, they traveled Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado before finally heading back to Arkansas. They drove Interstate 40, Route 66, Interstate 20 and 30 and lots of U.S. Highways in between seeing sights like the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and Mesa Verde, among other sites.

Below is a playlist containing every route they took along their journey, with listing of all the individual videos.

The next time you are planning a road trip to the American Southwest, we hope you will use our videos to plan your travel when you Drive America’s Highways.

Like the 2016 Southwest USA Trip, this one started in late September and encompassed many of the same routes as the 2016 trip did.Β  However, in 2018 we went all the way west to Santa Monica, much of the way along the historic route 66.Β  On the way back, we explored more of south Utah — this time in Monument Valley, and southwestern Colorado.

Unfortunately, rain prevented us from getting some of the routes we wanted to share, but rest assured, we got some great videos for you on the latest American Southwest tour.Β  Check them out below, and once we have posted them all, we will add a playlist view.Β Β Note:Β  Only new or significantly different routes from the 2016 are listed.
